I named my dental practice Elite Dental & Wellness because I’m committed to serving as your elite provider of top-quality holistic and biological dentistry, excellent customer service, and exceptional patient-centered care. It is my goal to make sure you enjoy a comfortable, supportive atmosphere where you feel at ease talking about your health concerns and goals. I, along with every member of the Elite team, work with you to co-diagnose your dental health issues and determine a custom-tailored strategy that brings you to optimal oral health.
I foster a friendly and welcoming office environment where I know you’ll have a positive experience. My journey into holistic and biological dentistry began years ago. I was trained in one of the best dental institutions in the country Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. While my dental education was superior, after practicing for several years I kept noticing a trend. Patients that were dedicated to proper home hygiene and coming into the dental office for their “routine cleanings” were still having dental cavities and other issues.
Not only that, but the longer I worked, the longer the list of medications and medical treatments my patients reported each visit to my office. I knew there were other links that were being missed in helping them reach optimal health. Thus, my true dental journey began. After extensive research, thousands of hours of continuing education, and being trained and mentored by some of the brightest minds in the dental field, I have been able to find the connections to whole body health as it relates to the mouth and airway.
By blending traditional dental, and holistic philosophies, my hope is to help you find answers to health concerns that have been missed or mistreated in traditional medical and dental settings.
I am a member of various dental and medical associations and am currently working toward my certification as a Holistic Health Coach (HHC) and Therapeutic Nutritional Counselor (TNC).
When not broadening my health education and dental skills, I enjoy spending time with my wife and five kids, being active in my church, and spending way too much time out in my garden.
The mouth is a gateway to our overall health. Our existing oral biological environment and what goes in our mouth, impacts our systemic condition. As we approach health it is imperative to consider the implications of all our actions and decisions. As an Accredited member of the IAOMT and having been SMART certified, Dr. DeSanti is committed to a holistic health-centered approach where he values the connection between oral health and systemic wellness. Dr. DeSanti truly cares for all his patients and always takes their best interest to heart.

Dr. Spencer DeSanti was born in Texas and grew up in the Portland, Oregon area. While at university, Dr. DeSanti met his future wife Cassandra who was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Shortly after being married, they moved to Chicago where he attended dental school at Midwestern University CDMI. After completing dental school, they made the big move to Calgary, Alberta. There Dr. DeSanti owned and operated a biological dental practice and served the community there for 10 years. Having been deeply rooted in the integrative and functional methods involved in biological dentistry, making the move to Mesa, Arizona and joining Elite Dental was an easy transition.
Dr. DeSanti has three young children and devotes most of his time outside of work to his family. Dr. DeSanti is also a sports enthusiast. Whether as a fan or the participant, he is involved with sports one way or another. He grew up playing baseball, soccer, basketball, and enjoyed snowboarding in the winter. He is now learning to play golf and appreciates the challenge it presents.
